Outstanding fuel saving performance
ENEOS 0W-8 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil was developed in conjunction with Asian auto manufacturers to meet the need of emerging hybrid engine technologies, such as Hybrid Electric Vehicles (H.E.V.), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (P.H.E.V.) and Battery Electric Vehicles (B.E.V.) which have been equipped with thermal gasoline engines used as a Range Extender. ENEOS 0W-8 is 100% synthetic engine oil suitable for modern gasoline engines requiring a viscosity grade SAE 0W-8 lubricant, or a “Fuel Economy” lubricant in viscosity grade 8. Provides excellent fuel savings of up to .8% over 0W-16 oil.

ENEOS 0W-8 is designed at the optimal viscosity and formulated with carefully selected additives based on tests with many types of engines. ENEOS has been market testing 0W-8 oil in Japan for nine years and is able to provide our key learnings to this optimized formulation, which provides superior anti-wear performance, and exceptional engine protection. Suitable for turbocharged or naturally aspirated, direct or indirect injection gasoline engines designed to use SAE 0W-8 oil with very low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity. Remarkable quick engine starts, protection, and power at cold temperatures
Zero ‘winter’ rated (0W) oils provide the fastest distribution of oil at startup, even during the coldest weather, to aid with rapid engine turnover and protection of critical components. Due to optimally balanced synthetic base oils and proprietary additives, ENEOS 0W-8 also provides enhanced component protection and responsiveness quickly after startup.
Superior thermal and oxidation breakdown resistance
ENEOS 0W-8 is formulated with highly refined synthetic base oils and advanced additives that help prevent deposits and sludge caused by oxidation breakdown of oils. This thermal and oxidation capability offers improved driving under many conditions and wide ranges of temperatures, as well as longer fuel-saving effects.
Industry standards leader
ENEOS helped establish the JASO GLV-1 spec, including creating and establishing the testing methods for the specification, and performing engine testing methods with OEM-provided test engines. ENEOS 0W-8 meets these new JASO GLV-1 standards. No 0W-8 standards yet exist for API and ILSAC.
