Strong Effort by Steve Arpin at ARX Canada

Loenbro Motorsports and ENEOS-sponsored driver Steve Arpin came prepared to demonstrate his impressive driving skills behind the wheel of his #00 cbdMD /ENEOS Ford Fiesta at the only round of the Americas Rallycross season, held in his home country of Canada at Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres in Quebec.

Despite placing sixth in the intermediate classification, he won the second semi-final and a gearbox failure for Scott Speed pushed Steve to the front row for the six-lap final. Arpin launched strong to lead the field into the first turn but would eventually finish fifth.

“Trois-Rivieres has always been tricky for me,” Arpin said. “But I’m proud of the weekend we had, nonetheless. The crew pulled through when I struggled to find speed, and I know my first win of the year is right around the corner!”

Arpin is only four points behind third place in the championship standings ahead of the next event at Circuit of the Americas on September 28. Until then, you can catch up with Arpin at Nitro World Games, where he’ll team up with Ken Block to drive the Loenbro Motorsports Fiestas at Utah Motorsports Campus, which features banked dirt corners, a rhythm section and a massive crossover jump.
