Quartararo Takes P6 at 2025 Czech MotoGP

Team ENEOS’ Fabio Quartararo showed great focus during the second half of the 2025 Grand Prix of Czechia, riding to a P6 finish. Teammate Álex Rins got caught up in the midpack, sparring with multiple rivals to finish P15 at Automotodrom Brno.

Starting from P3, El Diablo held his position through the first few corners but lost ground over the opening four laps, dropping down to P7. On lap seven, Enea Bastianini crashed out, allowing the Frenchman to climb up a position. With a big gap to the riders ahead and behind him, he was able to focus on riding his own race, setting a personal best lap towards the end, finishing the race in sixth place, 11.039sec from first.

My pace wasn’t bad, especially on the last five laps,” Quartataro said. “We know where we can improve, especially when riding in a group.

Rins launched from P15, ending the first lap in the same position. He climbed up to P13 briefly and after battling with two rivals on laps 11 and 12, was pushed back down to 15th. He defended his position to the finish line, 22.563sec from the winner, earning a championship point for his efforts.

It was tough to do better in terms of lap times, so it was hard to fight,” Rins said. “If we had to focus on improving one thing, it’s qualifying so we can have a better start. We need more consistency in qualifying before we can attack the race properly.
