Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Announces 2025 Team Riders
Yamaha Motor Racing and the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team revealed their 2025 rider lineup and a new bike design centered around Yamaha’s new “Blue Shift” vision, which emphasizes increased cooperation between Yamaha’s Japanese headquarters and the MotoGP team in Italy. Yamaha wants to improve motorcycle performance, encourage rider and staff development, and win more MotoGP races by adopting this vision.
Fabio Quartararo and Álex Rins continue on as riders for the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, revealing their 2025 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1s. The bike livery and team gear now feature more blue than in the past, reflecting the ‘Blue Shift’ concept.

Paolo Pavesio, who used to be the Director of Marketing & Motorsport at Yamaha Motor Europe, is taking over as the big boss for both Yamaha Motor Racing and the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team. He’s replacing Lin Jarvis, who’s been in charge since Yamaha Factory Racing started back in 1999. Jarvis isn’t gone completely though — he’ll still be around as a Senior Advisor.
