Canadian Racing Program Draws Participation From Across North America
Today JX Nippon Oil (JX) is proud to announce its partnership with the F1600 Formula F Racing Program. The sponsorship will feature the JX brand ENEOS logo on all participating race cars, as well as other considerations. ENEOS team members will also be on hand to help present trophies to race winners.
Formula 1600, or “F1600,” is a world-class competition car present in over 40 countries, raced on the most famous circuits in the world, including Silverstone, Nurburgring, Mt. Tremblant and Suzuka. Not only are they familiar as a “classic” looking race car, the current generation, which has been racing since the mid-60s, uses the Honda Fit 1600cc engines, as well as more affordable parts overall, making the sport more accessible to participants (more than 65 cars registered to race with Formula Tour 1600 in 2014).
Formula Tour 1600 is based in Quebec and races are conducted at premiere racetracks of the area, including Mt. Tremblant, with drivers from the Quebec area as well as teams from northern United States and a group of drivers from Arizona. ENEOS is a proud sponsor of the entire Quebec racing series. Other sponsors include Honda Racing, OKI, and Toyo Tires.

Remaining races in the 2015 season include the Trois Rivieres Grand Prix on July 31st and August 1st (where Mr. Sunami will conduct the trophy presentation), and the Tremblant Falls Classic September 25 – 27, 2015.
