What sets you apart from others?
“We are a small Mom and Pop business working on an international level. Each and every person who calls to order parts is treated like a friend and gets top customer service (unlike many other) online companies. I receive Facebook messages 24 hours a day, and for those who live on the other side of the world, I’ll reply to their messages when I’m up in the middle of the night letting the dog out. Our customer service is by far above and beyond… and we take great pride in that.”

How did you first become interested in cars?
“I started driving a tractor on Pop’s acreage around age 10 and started working on them around 15.”
What (or who) do you feel was instrumental to getting you where you are?
“My father was by far the most important key to my continued success: the motivation to put in an honest day’s work, to achieve your goals, and to never give up. That was also instilled by being a Marine from 1989 – 1992.”
What are some little-known facts about the business?
In its history, Delta Camshaft has worked on the original Wright Flyer, done many custom grinds for an engine builder who does restorations for Jay Leno, and held land speed records in lots of classes with our product… everything from 2hp Briggs to 10k Top Alcohol Funny cars.

When did you start racing cars and how did it evolve?
“I always had a love for racing, and going to the races, from drags, to circle track. My father raced with SOVERN on a road circuit and Motocross. I’ve always been around it.
“I started on the Circle Track stock car racing around 26 years old, and now as my son (Travis) has shown interest in actual cars (vs a video game system), I’ve decided to put a team together. Racing makes for great friendships.”
What are some things that identify your passion for racing?
“My father taught me to continue to drive toward my goals. I have put a lot of work into my business and racing; I work on all my cars and currently own 16. I’ve spent a lot of my hard-earned money to to make the cars look outstanding and get them around to events.”
