Dai Yoshihara and the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Now that the dust has settled from the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, ENEOS ambassador Dai Yoshihara’s recap vlog explains how the event pushed him and Evasive Motorsports to the limit.

Experiencing minor mechanical issues during practice and qualifying, the team worked hard to get the Evasive Motorsports / ENEOS Oil Honda S2000RS running at its best, and Dai managed to execute a flawless run during the final practice session.

However, as we all know (or you’ll soon see in the video), the S2000RS experienced mechanical failure halfway up the mountain on race day, preventing Dai from finishing his Race to the Clouds.

“We worked so hard for this, but ultimately finishing matters,” Yoshihara said. “The support of my sponsors and everyone who followed our journey means a lot to us. We’ll be back next year for certain!”
