DEREK KRAUS
Derek Kraus capped off his third season at Bill McAnally Racing by winning the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship in 2019 while sponsored by ENEOS.
In his three years at BMR, the 18 year-old from Stratford, WI registered ten wins, eight poles, 28 top five finishes and 33 in the top ten from 42 starts in K&N West competition. In addition, he had three wins, two poles, 12 top fives and 15 top tens from 18 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.
Along with winning the K&N West rookie title in his freshman season in 2017, Kraus was named to the NASCAR Next class of 2018-2019.
Derek has previously made five starts in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series with BMR. He finished eighth at Phoenix Raceway at his series debut in 2018, and notched another eighth-place finish at Dover International Speedway in one of four races he competed in during 2019. For 2020, Derek with focus on the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in his ENEOS-sponsored Toyota Tundra for McAnally-Higelmann Racing.
Kraus began his racing career in 2008 at the age of seven in the Wisconsin State Go Kart Series. From there he moved up to the Midwest Bandolero Series. He later transitioned to the Midwest Truck Series and eventually into a Super Late Model. He made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series at the beginning of the 2017 season with BMR.
