FD: Round 5 – Throwdown
Formula DRIFT Round 5 – Throwdown took place Friday, July 20 – Saturday, July 21 at the Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. Although Dai didn’t quite get the results he wanted, it was still a great week in Seattle. He qualified 10th on Friday, and went up against Kevin Lawrence in top 32 on Saturday, where Dai prevailed. In the top 16 Saturday night, Dai faced off against 6th place Ryan Tuerck, but their races were too close to call, and they faced off in an OMT (one more time) where Tuerck pulled ahead, ending the race for our partner.
Dai moved up one position to 10th place in season championship rankings. Next round is in St Louis, Missouri.
